About Bodega La Mazaroca
Bodega La Mazaroca is an iconic restaurant and wine bar in Arahal, Seville, with a history dating back to 1973. Founded by Manuel Blanca and carried on by his sons Demetrio, Jorge, and Silverio, the establishment has managed to preserve its traditional Andalusian essence while incorporating avant-garde touches into its culinary offerings.
The restaurant offers a complete dining experience, ranging from creative tapas and small plates to dishes featuring both land and sea, stews, meats, and fish, accompanied by a carefully curated selection of wines. Among its specialties are the foie gras mille-feuille, the “Serranito Japonés,” the “San Jorge,” razor clams with baby fava beans, black rice with fish, grilled scallops, scrambled eggs, and a spectacular brioche French toast.
The atmosphere at Bodega La Mazaroca is cozy and authentically Andalusian, with décor reminiscent of a traditional tavern, filled with antiques, photographs, and mementos. It’s a place where quality ingredients and warm service are valued, and where you can occasionally enjoy flamenco singing, which adds a local and festive touch to the experience.
