
This is the last of the beaches created on the coast of Barcelona. It is located next to the Nova Mar Bella and was incorporated into the city in the summer of 2006.It has an approximate length of 375 meters.
During the summer season, Llevant beach has a delimited area for access by citizens with dogs.
Llevant Beach is the result of the removal of the Prim breakwater and the construction of the platform that was to house the marine zoo, and came into operation provisionally in the summer of 2006.
This beach also has a volleyball area near the jetty that separates it from the beach ofthe Nova Mar Bella.
Llevant beach provides access and enjoyment to all users, especially those who have some limitation in their mobility.En los alrededores de la playa hay plazas de aparcamiento reservadas con itinerarios accesibles hasta la playa seca, señalización e información visual y táctil, lavabos adaptados, pasarelas de madera que llegan lo más cerca posible del agua (si bien en ningún caso llegan a tocarla ya que las corrientes podrían desprender el módulo) y duchas adaptadas con sillas. También cuenta con transporte público adaptado que facilita el acceso.
