Poble Espanyol

Poble Espanyol, located in Barcelona, is an open-air architectural museum that captures the essence of Spain through the recreation of 117 full-scale buildings, representing various regions of the country.Built for the 1929 Barcelona International Exhibition, it aimed to showcase Spain's architectural diversity and cultural heritage.

This "village" offers an immersion in traditional Spanish architecture, from Andalusian courtyards to Catalan Romanesque monasteries. Visitors can stroll through its streets and squares, discovering craft workshops and enjoying a vibrant cultural atmosphere.The site hosts more than 20 workshops where artisans create unique pieces of ceramics, glass, leather and jewelry.

Poble Espanyol is also a space for modern art, with the Fran Daurel Museum displaying works by Picasso, Dalí and Miró. In addition, it has a sculpture garden and the Guinovart space, dedicated to temporary exhibitions.Throughout the year, various cultural events and parties are held, including concerts, festivals, and family workshops.
