
It is a Catalan tavern that offers an informal and dynamic culinary experience. Chef Artur Martínez, also the creator of the Michelin-starred restaurant Aürt, seeks in TRÜ to vindicate traditional Catalan cuisine from a more accessible and closer perspective.
The restaurant is described as an "ode to traditional Catalan cuisine, rooted in the territory, but reinterpreted and updated".TRÜ is committed to cooking "our environment and our traditions in a unique way and from a relaxed perspective". The goal is "to rediscover, but also to rediscover. Respecting while evolving the legacy of ancestral wisdom.”
TRÜ stands out for its commitment to local and seasonal products, many of them made by hand or in collaboration with Catalan artisans.The restaurant is sensitive to seasonality, naturalness, environmental and social responsibility, the integral use of food and food ethics.
TRÜ's menu features dishes to share that reflect Catalan cuisine and drink from the popular recipe book, reinterpreted in an essential and personal way.You can find dishes such as the green xatonada of spikes with sprouts and anchovy, tongue skewers, waffles with torreznos, or the "ofegat" of peas and beans. The desserts, by Mar Ibáñez, also stand out, with options such as baked vanilla "xuixo" or Maresme strawberries with cherries and almonds.
The TRÜ space, previously occupied by the Palo Verde restaurant, has been renovated with warm colours to create a comfortable atmosphere.
TRÜ is currently only open for dinners, every day except Sundays.
