Description
Bar Jai-Ca is an iconic traditional tapas bar located in the heart of Barceloneta, Barcelona, with almost 70 years of family history since it opened in 1955. The bar retains a certain classic air with its original bar and a warm and welcoming atmosphere that brings together both neighbours of the neighbourhood and tourists and visitors looking for the authentic Mediterranean tapas experience.
La carta está llena de tapas frescas y de alta calidad, especialmente mariscos y platos de pescado que llegan directamente del barco al plato, como calamares, mejillones o gambas. Entre sus especialidades destaca la tradicional “raspa frita” de anchoa, reconocida tanto por clientes como por la prensa local y guías gastronómicas. Además, el vermut de la casa servido con hielo, ginebra y naranja es un clásico que muchos recomiendan probar.

Bar Jai-Ca accepts reservations especially for groups or more than 10 people by sending an email to reserves@barjaica.com or by calling one of the phones indicated on the website.
Key Booking Details:
Reservations are not guaranteed less than 24 hours in advance.
Confirmation by mail is required for the reservation to be guaranteed.
They are also encouraged to go without reservation: they can add you to the waiting list if there is a gap.
The table is stored a maximum of 15 minutes after the agreed time.
