Cabaña Buenavista

The most expensive and upscale restaurant in all of Murcia: its 2-Michelin-star tasting menu costs €175 per person and, together with Sherezade, a Murcian and an influencer, we tried a lot of dishes (almost 20) with nods to Murcian cuisine.

The dishes that caught our attention the most were the Murcian chato, an anchovy caviar appetizer, ball stock and a kid's dish, a tuna version of the traditional sausage.I would describe the experience as an “ode to Murcia,” with dishes highlighting local ingredients like tuna, cauliflower, and almonds, prepared in innovative ways.

Sherezade comments that there are better Michelin in Murcia and, for my taste, she lacked something that would excite me. Many Michelin restaurants prioritize creativity over taste, and I think that in the end it is more important to satisfy the customer and enjoy the dishes.
