About Borda Xixerella 018
Trying the best traditional restaurant in Andorra: a borda, a traditional food house serving typical Andorran food and many more dishes of Andorran cuisine, such as snails or trinxat. It is called Borda Xixerella and is about 15 minutes from Andorra la Vella, in La Massana.I went with my friend and private chef Marc Dias to what is considered the best borda in all of Andorra.
It is an old mountain house converted into a restaurant and known for its traditional Andorran cuisine. The menu includes traditional dishes such as snails and escudella, and modern innovations such as sea bass tartare and volcanic bread.
Food for two people cost us €161, with dishes ranging from €7.50 for croquettes to €23 for tartar.In the full YouTube video are all the dishes we tried and our opinion.
