This restaurant is one of the best in Santiago de Compostela and highly recommended by the people of Santiago for its good value for money. It has a Galician signature cuisine menu with Asian touches, where you can order half portions to share dishes and eat cheaper.It's called A Maceta and, to find out if it was a good recommendation or just a restaurant, I ordered a total of 10 dishes.

Its fusion cuisine mixes Galician tradition with global techniques and flavours, always with a clear commitment to fresh market products and seasonality.Among its most representative dishes are leeks with buffalo and almond stracciatella, mackerel or horse mackerel sashimi, seasonal tomatoes with Galician cheese and steak tartar or ripe mince.There are also baths of squid or prawns, estuary fish and modernized spoon dishes.

It is located on Rúa de San Pedro, one of the historic entrances to Santiago, in a rustic-contemporary stone building, casual and welcoming, with a highly valued landscaped inner courtyard. An essential address if you are looking for product cuisine with a contemporary and creative approach.
